“We are honored and excited to have received this award,” comments Carlo Schiavon, Sales and Marketing Director of Costa Cruises in Italy. “We share this important recognition with all our colleagues on board and on land, our business partners who support us every day and of course with our dear guests, who are always central to everything we do. During the last 70 years, our main objective has been to make them happy for which we work day by day innovating in our product to meet and exceed your expectations “he adds.
The reasons for the prestigious award include the company’s commitment to sustainability, having demonstrated it under the launch of the 4GoodFood program last February, which aims to halve the waste of food on board by 2020; and the construction of the Costa Smeralda, the first ship that will be powered by LNG (Liquid Natural Gas) that will be inaugurated in November 2019.
