FRAPORT Holiday Parking now only available with advance booking

Holiday Parking at Frankfurt Airport is now only available with advance booking, which is also strongly recommended for all other parking services. It’s attractively priced – and guaranteed!

The most attractively priced parking spaces at Frankfurt Airport are so popular that it’s now necessary to reserve them in advance. Gerald Krebs, who is in charge of parking management at Fraport AG, explains that “the 1,400 spaces of the Holiday Parking Lot have been consistently booked out during the last few months. We have therefore decided to require advance reservations from now on. It’s important for our passengers to be able to depart without stress, whether they are heading for a holiday destination or going on a business trip. The new arrangement will let them make their plans ahead of time and then get off to a smooth start.” Starting on June 1, access to the parking lot will only be possible with a previously received QR code.

The Holiday Parking Lot in a Nutshell

This parking lot is located in the south of Frankfurt Airport where it’s easy to find by following the signs. The price for one week starts at 39 euros, which can be paid by credit card or PayPal. There is a free shuttle bus service for conveniently getting to and from the terminals at any time of the day or night. Subject to availability, it is possible to book a space on the Holiday Parking Lot between 24 hours and nine months before flying. “The earlier you go online to book, the better are your chances of getting a parking space,” says Krebs.

Advance Booking Also Recommended for Terminal Parking

The same statement also applies to all of the other parking facilities at the airport, which are expected to be very busy during the upcoming summer season . “You’re on the safe side with advance booking – and it also costs less to do it this way,” he advises.

If you’re taking friends or relatives to the airport, you can drop them off right at the terminal. “This is the most comfortable solution for travelers, and doesn’t cost anything. You can park for up to 10 minutes for free in the drive-by areas in front of the terminals,” says Krebs, who is also responsible for landside transportation to and from the airport.

It’s easy for passengers and visitors to get detailed information on parking and the huge variety of other services offered at Frankfurt Airport: all they have to do is visit the airport’s website, Service Shop, orTwitter, Facebook, Instagram or YouTube social media pages.
