Jamaican Business Leader and Entrepreneur to open CCAA’s 41st Annual Conference in Miami

Washington, D.C.  — In two weeks, representatives from Government, the private sector, multi-lateral organizations, and civil society will meet in Miami for the 41st Annual Conference on the Caribbean and Central America (CCAA41).
Caribbean Central American Action (CCAA) is pleased to announce that the opening reception for CCAA41 will be keynoted by visionary entrepreneur and philanthropist, Jamaican-born Michael Lee-Chin.  Founder and Chairman of Portland Holdings, Mr. Lee-Chin has been a trail-blazer on the global business stage, with a diversified portfolio that spans multiple industry sectors. With a focus on business that not only does well, but also does good, Mr. Lee-Chin brings extraordinary energy, passion, and responsibility to ensuring that his work is able to bring positive change to the communities that he touches.

Mr. Lee-Chin’s address will be the closing event for the “Caribbean Prosperity Roundtable”.  This event on the afternoon of Wednesday, November 15, is hosted by the U.S. Department of State and will be a high-level dialogue on U.S.-Caribbean trade and investment relations.
