WINTER PARK, FL – The Winter Park Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that its signature event, Sip, Shop & Stroll, has been voted Best Periodic Event in the 6th Annual Orlando Date Night Awards. This is the third year in a row that Sip, Shop & Stroll receives this honor.
“We are thrilled to be recognized for this prestigious award for the third year in a row,” says Ally Stricker, Events Manager at the Winter Park Chamber of Commerce. “We love to showcase our amazing merchants of Park Avenue and the Sip, Shop & Stroll events let the whole community enjoy their creative eats and delicious drinks.”
Sip, Shop & Stroll events invite attendees to spend their evening enjoying wine and hors d’oeuvres tastings while strolling through downtown Winter Park. Events are held quarterly to showcase seasonal menu items and gift ideas at restaurants and merchants along Park Avenue.
“I love that the annual Orlando Date Night Awards give our readers the chance to give a high-five to the local restaurants, events and experiences they appreciate,” says Kristen Manieri, founder of Orlando Date Night Guide. “Of course, after 6 years we’re always adding new nominees to the list but a few tried and true favorites continue to win. That list includes the Winter Park Sip, Shop & Stroll, which won 1st place in the Best Periodic Event category for the 3rd straight year!”
The awards polled 1,056 readers and ran from March 8 through March 16. The Orlando Date Night Guide is a website source for local and visiting couples to find an endless list of ideas and recommendations for having fun and meaningful quality time together, according to its website.
